Hello Joseph,
we are very sorry to hear about your Papillon. Losing your companion dog is always very difficult especially if you struggle to provide them with peaceful departure. Unfortunately, we are not in touch with any veterinarian schools, but our best suggestion would be to search online for “Arizona veterinary schools” and from there you should be able to find suitable option for you and your dog.
Hope this helps. We wish you the best of luck and strength!
I came here for the same advice via a link on The Penny Hoarder.
“f your focus is on where to
euthanize a dog for free, pet owners
often turn to educational
institutions. Vet schools look for
dogs, cats and other animals to use
for educational purposes
“This enables your dog to contribute
to science and education, helping
lots of future generations of pets,’
Dr. Paola Cuevas, veterinary
consultant at PetKeen, said. “It also
saves money on cremation and
memorial services.”
You might want to have them remove that link.
Your local SPCA offers euthanasia I believe for $25. Prior they will check your pet and ask you some questions to make sure that you’re not doing this for the wrong reason and for the best of your pet.
Together, PetKeen and PangoVet will offer even more advanced telehealth services and pet health information. This will help everyone to find looking after animals simpler and more convenient.
